Years at Bay: 4

Quick Facts:
Born and raised in Ohio. Grew up playing sports and helping family with projects on a small farm in rural Wayne County (near Akron). Attended college at Ashland University. Has lived in the Greater Cleveland area since beginning career at Bay Corporation following college.

What are three things you have a passion for?
Traveling, music and sports.

You have to give up one food forever and eat only one forever. What would they be?
Give up cottage cheese and eat seafood forever. I would eat fish over spoiled milk any day!

What are your proudest accomplishments professionally and personally?
Professionally – my advancements at Bay Corporation.
Personally – applying the values, responsibilities and work ethic learned from my upbringing to adult life.

What are your favorite things about Cleveland/NE Ohio?
I enjoy the changing of seasons (except the long, cold winters). There is nothing like the activities offered in the fall – football, bonfires and Wayne County Fair food!

Would you rather...
Eat a worm or go bungee-jumping?
Eat a worm – my life isn't dependent on a cord not snapping!
Be a cat or a dog?
Dog – man's best friend!
Only travel by mule or unicycle?
Mule – I grew up on a small farm with horses so it seems close enough.

What was your favorite thing about your favorite vacation destination?
While the tranquility and majesty of the Rocky Mountains is extraordinary, the friendly people, delicious food and great live music of Nashville, Tennessee resulted in numerous return trips.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher, astronaut or professional athlete. I currently get to help people, travel and play in local sports leagues – I guess I am getting the best of all three!

What is one thing that nobody knows about you?
I had perfect attendance in high school.

Who will be the first Cleveland sports team to win a championship this century?
The Cleveland Cavaliers have a great opportunity to break the 50+ year drought and bring the city a championship... I have faith in their chances. The Ohio State Buckeyes also have the ability to represent the entire state by repeating as National College Football Champions in 2016.

If you could have the ability to teleport for one day, where would you travel?
Australia and New Zealand... that plane ride seems like it would be too long to not take the opportunity.

If you could have the superpower of your choice, what would it be?
Teleportation. My travel experiences would increase with the expenses decreasing!

Best and worst summer job?
Best – Smucker's college summer help. I was able to see the daily plant operation of a Fortune Magazine "100 Best Companies to Work For in the United States."
Worst – Baling hay. I learned a lot and think everyone should experience it, but the heat and dust in the top of the hay mow (the highest point inside the barn) can get intense!

If you could have dinner with anybody, who would it be?
My great-grandmothers and grandfather who passed away while I was in school.

Why is it that a wise man and a wise guy are totally different?
You're asking the wrong guy.
