Born and raised in Avon Lake Ohio. I now live in Sheffield Lake Ohio with my wife Jen who I married in 2005. We had our first son Blake in 2008 and our second Cole in 2011. I love to golf when I can find the time, I enjoy working with my hands, doing projects around my house and working on my RC truck.
What are three things you have a passion for?
Family, technology (gadgets) and craft beers. Some of my favorite gadgets are my cell phone, new MacBook Air and Traxxas Slash radio controlled truck.
You have to give up one food forever and eat only one forever. What would they be?
Give up fish sticks and eat pizza forever. There are so many topping combinations it's like a new meal every day.
What are your proudest accomplishments professionally and personally?
Professionally - working for Bay Corporation for 16 years.
Personally - becoming a father.
What are your favorite things about Cleveland/NE Ohio?
There are so many fun activities! Roller coasters at Cedar Point, all the great sports teams, all the parks and Lake Erie (which I'm afraid to swim in).
Would you rather (and why)...
Eat a worm or go bungee-jumping?
Bungee-jumping for sure. I'm a picky eater.
Be a cat or a dog?
Dog, being man's best friend and all.
Only travel by mule or unicycle?
Unicycle. Mules are too slow.
What was your favorite thing about your favorite vacation destination?
Kayaking in Hawaii on my honeymoon. I got to kayak down the same river where they filmed the opening scene for Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark (one of my favorite movies).
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Professional baseball player.
What is one thing that nobody knows about you?
I have a fear of really long words.
Who will be the first Cleveland sports team to win a championship this century?
I hope it's the Browns, but I wouldn't mind if the Indians did it first.
If you could have the ability to teleport for one day, where would you travel?
The International Space Station! Can you imagine all the cool gadgets up there? Not to mention the view...
If you could have the superpower of your choice, what would it be?
I would love to have speed like the Flash. You would never have to drive anywhere again.
Best and worst summer job?
Best summer job was working construction with my dad and grandpa. I learned so much.
The worst had to be flipping burgers at one of the big fast food chains.
If you could have dinner with anybody, who would it be?
Jackie Chan. He is my favorite actor and I have seen most all of his movies.
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
The egg came first, before the evolution of the chicken.
Why is the word for "a fear of long words," hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, so long?
I can't answer that.
