40th Anniversary Recap

This past May, Bay Corporation celebrated its 40th year in business. As you may know, the company was founded May 11, 1979 in Larry (Sr.) and Donna Hull’s garage.  Since then, we have made memories and friends along way.

To mark this occasion . . .

  • we created a time line of some of the key events in the company’s history, which was displayed in our main hallway
  • we opened a time capsule created and “buried” during our 35th anniversary; in which, were all sorts of important artifacts from our company’s history as well as several fun items submitted by our fellow colleagues
  • our employees shared “What I love about Bay Corporation . . .” and we proudly displayed these comments during our festivities
  • we shared a catered luncheon, during which our president, Larry (Jr.), and our chairman, Brooks, offered their appreciation with their personal remarks and served our employees a special cake

The celebration will continue during the course of the year to be highlighted at our summer picnic and holiday party.  If you have not had the chance, check out our Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat (@baycorporation) posts, as well as a special letter written by Larry to commemorate this special anniversary.

As Larry has stated, “here is to another 40 years!”

Check out these pictures of all of our anniversary fun below!

Pictured here is our time line that highlights some of the most memorable Bay Corporation moments from the last 40 years of business. This was displayed in the main hallway of our office building for all employees and guests to enjoy.

What is a celebration without balloons? Here we have our B.C plush toy posing with our '40' balloon display.

Bay provided a catered lunch for its employees that everyone was able to take time out of their work day to enjoy.

Pictured above is our president, Larry, as well as our chairman, Brooks, cutting the cake that displayed our 40th anniversary logo. After all, can it really be considered a celebration if there is not cake?

This last picture shows everything that we pulled out of the time capsule that Bay Corporation buried 5 years ago. It had a wide range of things including a White Castle box from when there was one in our area, awards given to Bay, product designs, a marshmallow shooter, Bay Corporation merchandise, and plenty more!
